Students will explore their physical and intellectual identity by visually representing their interests and their interests’ corresponding core personal values through the use of image and text. Students will learn that art can be used to express their interests as well as something abstract like core values which are both parts that make up their whole individual self.

OBJECTIVE VI: Given tempera paint and water, students will accurately apply a wash to their cardboard contour cutout with a color of their choice. VA:Cr2.1.5 OBJECTIVE VII: Given a PowerPoint presentation on the different types of line and how different lines are used to imply different feelings, students will effectively select and draw five lines creating six puzzle pieces within their cardboard contour cutout that help convey or correspond with their personality.
